It is not surprising that the 2019 Jeep Wrangler has been named Motortrend’s SUV of the year. Offering excellent off-roading capability, a comfortable on-road ride, plenty of modern technology, and added advanced safety features, the 2019 Wrangler is hard to beat.
There are a few configurations to choose from with the 2019 Wrangler. You can opt for a two-door or a four-door model, and also choose between a soft-top convertible or a hard top. To preserve that outdoor Jeep feel, however, all models feature fold-down windshields and removable doors.
Five trim levels are offered: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, and Moab. The base model is quite well-equipped, featuring 17-inch steel wheels, front fog lamps, halogen headlights, incandescent taillights, black door handles, black manual mirrors, a molded black front and rear bumper, skid plates, and a full-size spare tire. With the Sport S trim comes added features like 17-inch aluminum wheels, automatic headlights, and power-adjustable and heated mirrors, while the Sahara trim adds 18-inch polished wheels, body-colored fender flares, and side steps.
The off-road-focused Rubicon trim features shorter axle gearing, an electronically disconnecting roll bar, and special off-road tires, while the Moab trim comes with LED head- and taillights, unique black wheels, rock rails, LED fog lights, and a black-painted exterior trim.

The Wrangler has great water-fording capability, for instance, because of a high air intake, sealed electrical connections, and a water-resistant body, while rugged skid plates protect important parts of the car, such as the fuel tank and transfer case, when driving over tough terrain.
